Vision and Mission
Vision
To develop passionate young people with the skills to make a positive contribution to a modern Britain and beyond.
The heart of SST Maidstone’s vision is to meet the needs of a rapidly changing 21st Century workforce through innovative teaching and learning. SST Maidstone will build core competencies to complement academic excellence through a rich curricular and co-curricular programme.
Students will use their knowledge to think, take risks and experiment in order to overcome challenges.
SST Maidstone graduates will leave with a combination of excellent academic outcomes and a unique set of skills, combining entrepreneurship and innovation, highly developed computer science capabilities, research techniques and global awareness.
Mission
To be leaders in STEAM based learning.
We will offer a rich programme of both formal and informal learning. Our students will graduate with the skills equipped to make a full contribution to the challenging and rapidly changing 21st Century environment.
SST Maidstone will stand out as a school built on a fundamentally different approach. Students will learn by thinking and doing.
We will develop established and strong relationships between SST Maidstone and all our Trust schools, as well as a vital culture of mutual support that we hope will be extended to employers and entrepreneurs working with our schools, and to our local, national and international communities.
