Open Events 2019

We are looking forward to welcoming you and your child to our open events - we hope they will give you a ‘taste’ of what our exciting new school has to offer!

Please note the joining instructions below.

12 October 2019, 9am-11.35am (please note new end time)

Students should be dropped off Valley Park School from 8.30am for a 9am prompt start

During the morning, students will take part in a number of taster lessons in Science, Computing, DT and Art, which will give them a flavour of the SST Curriculum. We ask that students attend the open event in their own school uniform and bring a small pencil case as well as a water bottle. We will provide fruit during break.

We had hoped to be able to show the students the school site, however, due to health and safety reasons, this is not going to be possible on the day.  We do plan to share photos and videos of the site with you and your child on the day.

All parents are warmly invited to a presentation in the hall at 9am which will explain our vision for SST, its curriculum, as well as information on the application process, admission tests and transition programme.

All students should be collected from Valley Park School at 11.35am.

Please note, parking is limited on site and we would be grateful if you could use public transport or walk to the event where at all possible.
