Celebrating Our Founding Year 11 Cohort
Yesterday, we marked a special moment in SST’s history as we said goodbye to our Year 11 students, our founding cohort, who officially completed their time with us after five incredible years. The whole school community came together for a final celebratory walk-out, lining the courtyard to cheer on Year 11 as they made their way out of the main entrance for the last time. It was a powerful moment, and we are so grateful that our community came together to farewell our founding cohort Earlier in the afternoon, students gathered for a leavers’ assembly where we looked back on their journey since joining SST in 2020. With a mixture of laughter and tears, staff and students watched photos and videos from the last five years, and moving speeches were shared by Mrs Chapman, Mr Payne, Mr Royston and Mrs Beales. To round off the afternoon, students collected their personalised hoodies and leavers’ books, and signed shirts as a lasting memento of their time at SST. We are so proud of everything they’ve achieved and the lasting legacy they leave behind. They’ve helped shape SST into the school it is today, and we wish them every success as they take their next steps.
