Business
A-Level Business gives students a wide-ranging understanding of business behaviour, organisation, and activity. The course encourages the development of critical thinking about how businesses operate, how they add value, and why stakeholders behave as they do. Learning is contextualised with real-world examples and contemporary business issues, combining independent research with varied teaching styles.

Entry Requirements
6 (or above) in GCSE Business or L2D in BTEC Enterprise and a 5 (or above) in GCSE Maths and English (Language or Literature).

Assessment Structure

Paper 1: 2 hours, 100 marks, covers Year 12 content, 33.3% of A-Level.

Paper 2: 2 hours, 100 marks, covers Year 13 content, 33.3% of A-Level.

Progression Pathways
A-Level Business supports progression to higher education courses in business, management, finance, marketing, and economics. It also prepares learners for apprenticeships or careers in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, and related sectors.
