SST Achieve Outstanding GCSE Results Again
School of Science and Technology is celebrating the exceptional achievements of our Year 11 students.
Students at SST achieved an outstanding set of GCSE Results once again, with even higher attainment across the board from our remarkable results in 2025. Over 78% of our 2026 cohort achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and Mathematics. Additionally, 20% of all grades were a 7, 8 or 9, with a total of 64 top grades (50 Grade 9s and 14 Distinction*s).
Once again, we saw brilliant outcomes in Science as 89% of all grades were a 9 to 4, across our range of STEM subjects 84% grade 9 to 4 were achieved, however there were also amazing results in our creative subjects where 85% of all grades were 9 to 4. These results demonstrate that SST is so much more than just a STEM School; we are proud to provide exceptional teaching, state-of-the-art facilities, and countless opportunities to students of all talents and interests.

“We are celebrating another brilliant set of GCSE Results, with extremely strong outcomes across English, Maths and Science once again. We are also proud to share excellent performance across our comprehensive range of subjects including Computer Science, Religious Studies, Photography, Sports Studies, Psychology, Drama and Music. This emphasises the outstanding educational experience our dedicated staff provide in preparing our students for successful futures."
We would also like to celebrate the notable achievements of the following students:
- Lucas achieved 9 grade 9s and 1 grade 7
- Martha achieved 8 grade 9s, 1 grade 8, and 1 grade 7
- Thomas achieved 7 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s and 1 grade 7
- Angel achieved 5 grade 9s, 4 grade 8s and 2 grade 6s
- All of the above students also achieved a Level 2 Extended Mathematics Certificate.
